Beach and Pool Rules

4. BEACH, BAY, AND POOL

4.1       Lifeguards may restrict swimming privileges to any member or guest who fails to observe regulations.

4.2       Refrain from conversation with lifeguards on duty.

4.3       Children that are unable to swim are not permitted into the facility without competent supervision (age 13 or older) or guardian.

4.4       Children under the age of 10 are not permitted into the facility without competent supervision (age 13 or older).

4.5       A competent supervisor (age 13 or older), parent or guardian must accompany children into the Kiddy Pool. Children over the age of 6 are prohibited from the Kiddy Pool.

4.6       Children age 5 or under, or any child who cannot swim, must be accompanied by a competent supervisor (age 13 or older), parent or guardian within the gated pool area.

4.7       Running or roughhousing on the pool deck is prohibited.

4.8       Only one person at a time is allowed on the diving board or slide in the diving area. Exit the pool immediately by nearest ladder.  No swimming is allowed in the diving area.

4.9       Ball playing, floatation devices, swimmies, vests, tubes, toys, etc. are prohibited from the main pool area (except for pre-approved organized activities or swim lessons).

4.10     Pool use will be limited during swimming lessons and other approved events.

4.11     The swim lap lane is for continuous swimming only. Swim boards and flippers are allowed in lap lane only.

4.12     Diving in shallow ends of pool is prohibited.

4.13     Jumping into kiddy pool is prohibited.

4.14     Strollers, food, drinks, coolers, and smoking, are prohibited inside the fenced pool area.

4.15     Shorts and pants are not permitted in the pool; swimsuits only.

4.16     All children not toilet trained must wear swim diapers when in pool. If an accident happens in the pool, it may have to be closed for an extended period of time.

4.17     All diapering must be done in the bath houses.

4.18     Dressing or undressing in the bath houses only.

4.19     Loitering is prohibited in the bath houses.

4.20     Limit time spent in showers and clean up after use in bath houses.

4.21     Towels or clothing should not be hung on any fences in the facility.

4.22     Deck chairs are not to be removed from the pool deck. Only authorized deck chairs are permitted on the pool deck.

4.23     Club chairs are prohibited on the beach.

4.24     During the regular season the bay will be open 10 AM to 7 PM (weather and staffing permitting).

4.25     One umbrella per family. Umbrellas should be returned when done.

4.26     A competent supervisor (age 13 or older), must accompany children under the age of 6 in the playground area.

4.27     The plastic play sets are for ages 6 and under.

4.28     Climbing on or jumping off play sets is prohibited.

4.29     Return toys to toy box when done.

4.30     Metal shovels, rakes, hoes, etc. are prohibited.

4.31     Ball playing is permitted in basketball, volleyball, and handball court areas
only, unless previously approved by the Biltmore Beach Club Board of
Directors.

4.32     Swimmies and life vests are prohibited beyond the shore line rope in the bay.

4.33     Rafts are prohibited in the bay.

4.34     You may pass the bay rope to access the swim platform or for swimming laps.

4.35     Rough playing on the swim platform is prohibited.

4.36     Kitchen use must be prearranged with the Facility Manager or the Board of Directors. Refrain from using the refrigerator and stove for personal use unless pre-approved by the Facility Manager or the Board of Directors.  Member is responsible for cleaning the kitchen after each use.

4.37     There shall be no more than 20 adult guests per family on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays. There shall be no more than 20 adult guests per family on weekdays without prior approval of the Biltmore Beach Club Board of Directors. No corporate, company or business gatherings are permitted.

4.38     Decoration of the facility is strictly for Board sanctioned club events.

4.39     Open fires, including BBQ’s, Tiki torches, or fire pits, are prohibited unless approved by the Biltmore Beach Club Board of Directors.

4.40    Clean up any areas prior to leaving, and dispose of all trash in litter baskets,

4.41    Ash trays or butt cans must be used when smoking.

4.42     All flyers and posted materials must be Biltmore Beach Club related, inclusive of the general membership, and not be commercial.
